Quantum Foundations
This is an attempt to create a teaching resource for Quantum Foundations, with the aim of eventually producing one or more textbooks. This wiki version will always be available to read for free. It is collaboratively edited by a select group of researchers, which you have to be invited to join.
The subject of quantum foundations has always been a little divisive and, even today, it is difficult to find experts who agree on the relative importance of different topics and have the same opinion on every important issue. The authors of this wiki are no exception. To deal with this, the different authors have created their own routes through the material, and have sometimes created their own versions of pages or their own commentary on them. There are also routes through the material designed for people with different backgrounds and goals. The default version of each author's route aims to be a comprehensive graduate-level textbook, at about the level of the Perimeter Scholars International (PSI) Quantum Foundations course, which all of the authors have taught at one time or another. This is aimed at upper-level undergraduate and beginning graduate students with a background in physics. Other routes, including routes designed for students with minimal mathematical background, will be added at some point in the future.
